A network for life-long education

    To meet the need of a learning-oriented society and life-long education, Communication University of China has set up a multi-media, multi-form and multi-level system of adult education. By means of correspondence education, night school and air classroom, we provide an all-round continuing education for workers in the information and communication field.

     In the 20 years since the resumption of correspondence education, we have established 31 continuing education branch schools and correspondence stations across the country. By using the national fiber optic cable network, we have set up 27 network-education learning centers in 25 provinces. There are currently more than 9,800 students taking various courses in correspondence education or at night school, and there are more than 6,500 network-education students.


   Well-equipped and materially guaranteed

    In Communication University of China, there are a group of domestically advanced specialized experiment centers and laboratories, multi-media campus network, digital cable transmission network, modern long-distance education network and books and literature information resource network.

    Communication University of China is going to establish a modern digital library characteristic of information and communication. In our library, there are 1.03 million books, more than 500,000 cassettes of audio-and-visual materials, 3,000 magazines and newspapers, and 8,000 electronic newspapers and journals.

    There are 3 academic divisions, 14 schools, 38 departments in Communication University of China, which offers 3 post-doctoral programs, 13 doctoral programs, 29 master programs, 6 disciplines for master’s degrees and 68 bachelor programs. In addition, there is one independent college.
